America's New D-DAY  - June 6, 2010  - Disease Day

 

With the same resolve that US troops stormed the beaches at Normandy on June 6, 1944, we will storm into a new war against a very different enemy, human disease.  Join us in flooding monetary funds to a new charity each year on the anniversary of D-Day.  With your support, America could once again prevail in defeating a formidable adversary.

 

We intend to launch our new D-Day invasion against a variety of diseases. The 2010 Chosen Charity has been selected by our governing board.  Our chosen charity this year is The American Heart Association.

If you receive one of our emails, we ask you to make your donation through the link above and pass the email on to everyone in your email address book.  Please do the same from your office or firm if you can. Please also request that they, too, keep the online assault going.

 

Suggestions:  You may write "America's New D-DAY" on the lower-left of your check, but do not make checks payable to America's New D-day.  We handle no donations.

This year will mark the third year in which we made an assault on a disease or promoted a noteworthy charity affiliated with human disease and suffering.  Thanks to all those that contributed to or assisted with the charity efforts below:

 

2008 – St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.

2009 - American Cancer Society and the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center.

2010 – American Heart Association.

      

 We asked that you help promote this year’s chosen charity by spreading the word to all of your contacts.  If you reside in Central PA and can attend our Canoe and Kayak Float – you are cordially invited to do so.  Details can be found in the menu.   The Assault Date this year is May 22, 2010. 

Our donations this year will be channeled through the "Heart Ball - of Johnstown" and affiliation of the American Heart Association.
